Mac OS X hid the most file extensions from the user. With this tip, you can still display the file extensions.
on the Mac extensions show
- switch to the Finder. This is by clicking on a vacancy of the desktop.
- next is click on Finder links at the top of the menu, and then click settings .
- choose here extends .
- now enable display all file name suffixes.
the change is immediately active. In the Finder, you see all files with their endings.
